Digital technology has now become an integral part of our lives. The advancement of digital technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including enhancing the well-being of society. With all the benefits it can offer, the use of digital technology to enhance societal well-being becomes imperative. However, it is important to remember that the use of digital technology must be done wisely and sustainably, taking into account its impact on the environment and society. The purpose of writing this article is to understand Regulations and Ethics in the Era of Digital Transformation: Humanizing Technology for Community Welfare. The research method used is qualitative, namely a type of research that aims to analyze social life from the perspective or interpretation of individuals (informants) in an academic context. Several consequences of the existence and development of information and communication technology include: Firstly, creating an imbalance akin to colonialism in the flow of information. Ethics is a concern for humans who have the freedom to choose. It revolves around individual choices. Through methods such as digital application processes, remote service models, and innovative financial inclusion strategies, digital welfare initiatives aim to ensure everyone benefits from social and economic well-being. With the increasing interaction of humans with Information and Communication Technology over time, the importance of ethics as a foundational regulation in the use of Information and Communication Technology becomes increasingly urgent to be understood by the general public.

Storynomic: the power of folklore branding in tourism development

Karanganyar District is one of the regions in Central Java, Indonesia. Karanganyar District is famous for its natural beauty and historical sites that attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit tourist destinations such as Grojogan Sewu, Cetho Temple, Grojogan Jumog, Parang Ijo, Balekambang Park, Sukuh Temple, Sapta Tirta Pablengan, and Madirda Lake.

Uniquely, the tourist locations above have folklore or floklor behind a name or the formation of the location. The idea of this research is to see the interest of visitors to a tourist destination because of the folklore that is the background of the tourist spot. Folklore that is passed down orally and from generation to generation can be found in various regions in Indonesia, one of which is the folklore of Telaga Madirda in Berjo, Ngargoyoso Karanganyar Regency. The research method is quantitative description by spreading questionnaire with 63 visitors at tourist village locations and from BUMDes interviews as a secondary source.The results of this study Branding has a positive but less significant relationship with tourist interest in visiting. The presence of storynomics as a moderating variable is also less able to influence tourists' interest in visiting Madirda Lake. A sign that the government and stakeholders need to pay special attention to the development of digital content through social media, to attract the interest of millennial tourists

The Development and Transformation of Web-Based Information Systems at Special Skills Training (DKK) of Politeknik Bumi Akpelni Semarang

The development and transformation of a web-based information system at the special skills training (DKK) Bumi Akpelni Polytechnic Semarang needs to be done in order to provide time efficiency and increase professionalism in maritime certification services. The system used in this training unit to manage its operational activities is still manual and considered inefficient. Therefore, the author has the idea to change the old system into a new system, namely a web-based information system. This new system will make it easier to manage participant registration, schedule participants and instructors, disseminate information and create reports so that it can save time, energy and costs in managing training activities later. The research method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method, namely to develop new knowledge and apply it in making new products, services or technology. The results of the research show that: 1) A new special skills training information system, created with web-based programming that is integrated with a database server, 2) Helps in wider promotional media and can make the registration process more effective and efficient both in entering participant data that has been completed. can be carried out by the participants themselves, processing the list of training participants, conveying information on the list of participants and the training implementation period to training participants and also making it easier to make training reports. 3) The new special skills training information system was created so that the training implementation process is more time efficient and supports the training process. From this study, it is hoped that the special skills training unit (DKK) of Akpelni Earth Polytechnic can provide better and faster service, so that training participants can feel satisfaction in carrying out training and taking or extending the validity period of maritime certification in order to comply with existing regulations.

Implementation of NLP and IR-Based Model on Jateng Gayeng Bot Tourism System (JAGABOTA)

Information Retrieval (IR) and Natural Processing Language (NLP) are important components in the development of several applications, one of which is a chat bot. The application of both models has been used for a wide range of cases especially for text data processing and text data automation. On the implementation of a bot application on one of the tourism agencies in Central Java that is being developed, using the NLP architecture and IR-Based Model for the development of a robot application named Jateng Gayeng Bot Tourism (JAGABOTA). This architectural model incorporates the concept of Bag of Words (BoW) for the IR Based Model in the process of collecting text data that will be processed into the question and answer data, then performs the data preprocessing process and performs application of NLP modeling with the Neural Network method so that the results of the question process and answers from the data already created can match and match the combination already given as well as facilitates the chat bot process in finding the combinations between question and response correctly and accurately. From the application of NLP architecture and IR Based model this makes tourism Central Java chat bot can do its job to provide information well and accurately to the user.

The Impact of Digital Marketing Capabilities on MSME Performance: The Moderating Role of Entrepreneurial Orientation

This study examines the impact of digital marketing capabilities on the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), moderated by entrepreneurial orientation. A questionnaire survey was employed for data collection. The unit of analysis consists of SME owners in Jambi Province, Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using the PLS-SEM approach. The findings indicate that both digital marketing capabilities and entrepreneurial orientation have a significant and positive effect on SME performance. However, entrepreneurial orientation does not significantly moderate the relationship between digital marketing capabilities and SME performance. The implications of this study will be further discussed.

Android-Based Online Outpatient Registration System (Case Study at Klinik Waris Medika)

The rapid advancement of information technology has had a major impact on various sectors, including the health sector. The current outpatient registration system at Klinik Waris Medika is still limited to on-site registration, which can cause some problems such as long queues and time-consuming registration processes. This research aims to overcome these problems by developing an Android-based outpatient online registration system at Klinik Waris Medika to simplify the registration process and reduce patient waiting time at the clinic. The system development method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The system database structure consists of patient tables, doctor tables, polyclinic tables, officer tables, doctor schedule tables, reservation tables, and visit tables. The system is designed to generate various reports, including patient data reports, doctor data reports, polyclinic data reports, officer data reports, registration data reports, online patient visit reports, daily patient visit reports, new patient visit reports, and old patient visit reports. The system offers features for scheduling and reserving visits, making the service simpler and more efficient. By implementing this system, the quality and efficiency of patient registration services at Klinik Waris Medika is expected to improve significantly.

These insights are crucial for understanding and navigating the increasingly complex global market, thereby increasing the competitiveness and performance of maritime companies. Innovation strategy is the primary key for the maritime industry in facing the challenges of increasingly fierce global competition, changes in international regulations, rapid technological developments, and changes in customer preferences. To remain competitive, maritime companies must adapt through innovation in products, services, and operational processes. Investments in technology and innovation can increase the profitability of maritime companies through operational efficiency, cost reduction, increased safety, service diversification, and competitive advantage. The research identifies various obstacles, including limited access to quality language education, lack of practice opportunities, and insufficient exposure to native speakers. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys and interviews with tour guides from diverse backgrounds. Findings indicate that, despite recognizing the importance of English proficiency for career advancement, many tour guides struggle with linguistic and psychological barriers. The research highlights the need for tailored language training programs and practical strategies to enhance language learning, ultimately improving the quality of service in the tourism sector. The study concludes with recommendations for policymakers, educators, and tourism organizations to support tour guides in overcoming these obstacles.}

In today’s tech-savvy world, artificial intelligence (AI) is shaking up how we handle various tasks, including managing research in educational institutions. This paper looks into how AI can be used to keep track of and evaluate the research work of faculty members at Politeknik Jambi. The main goal is to create and use an AI-driven system that makes monitoring and assessing research performance quicker and more accurate. This system uses machine learning to sift through research data, such as publications, patents, and conference contributions, to give a clear and objective view of research performance. We gather data from different sources, process it using Natural Language Processing (NLP) to pull out key info, and apply predictive models to evaluate performance. Our findings show that this AI system speeds up the evaluation process and boosts both transparency and accuracy. We also talk about the challenges of using AI in academic settings and offer some tips for future improvements. Our hope is that other educational institutions can use these insights to better manage and evaluate research with AI.

An Analysis of Students’ Experience and Educational Benefits of UPN Veteran Jawa Timur E-Learning

This study evaluates the student experiences and educational benefits of using the e-learning platform at UPN University "Veteran" Jawa Timur (UPNVJT). With the rapid adoption of technology due to the COVID-19 pandemic, e-learning has become a crucial alternative in supporting educational activities. The study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 50 UPNVJT students from various study programs. Data were collected through questionnaires assessing platform usage, user experiences, and the benefits and challenges encountered. The results show that the UPNVJT e-learning is often used for downloading materials and submitting assignments. The majority of respondents reported positive experiences regarding the accessibility and flexibility offered by the platform. However, some challenges such as slow server speeds, network issues, and a lack of interactive features were also identified. Based on these findings, it is recommended to improve the user interface, technical infrastructure, notification and discussion features to support collaborative learning. This study provides important insights into the effectiveness of the e-learning platform in supporting the teaching and learning process, as well as areas that need improvement to enhance the student learning experience.

The growth of cafe business in the city of Jababeka with diverse facilities makes the city of Jababeka, especially the Tampan District confused looking for a cafe that fits so that it uses a long time. The author utilizes information technology and implements the SMART method with data for cafe criteria such as places of worship, parking facilities, non-smoking areas or smoking areas, wifi facilities, indoor and outdoor rooms, interior design, meeting facilities, private and party rooms, facilities games, children's playgrounds and data list cafes that the author gets from the results of observations and questionnaires in the field in making this system. Formulation and Evaluation of Celery Leaf (Apium graveolens L.) Extract Hand Lotion with Variations of Triethanolamine and Stearic Acid Concentration as Emulgator

Celery (Apium graveolens L.) contain flavonoid compounds, saponins, tannins and essential oils which function as antibacterials. The content of celery leaf extract is known to have very strong activity in inhibiting Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with an inhibitory zone diameter of 23.2 mm. Therefore, celery leaf extract has the potential to be developed into an active substance in making hand lotion. This research aims to determine the formulation and evaluation of celery leaf extract
hand lotion and determine variations in the concentration of triethanolamine and stearic acid on the physical properties of the lotion. Variations in the concentration of triethanolamine and stearic acid used in making celery leaf extract hand lotion are F1 (2% : 7%), F2 (3% : 6%), F3 (4% : 5%).
Physical quality testing includes organoleptic observations, homogeneity tests, pH measurements, spreadability, stickiness and viscosity. The data obtained were tested statistically using One Way ANOVA and Kruskall-Wallis tests. The research results showed that the hand lotion had a semi solid form, was light green in color, and had the smell of green tea essence. The lotions were homogeneous and has no coarse grains. The results of the lotion spreadability of the three formulas met the requirements, namely 5.28-6.35 cm. The adhesive power of lotions was found to be 6.23-10.29 seconds. The pH of lotions was 4.7-6.8. The viscosity of the lotions was 4184-7488 cps. Varying concentrations of triethanolamine and stearic acid have a significant effect on the physical properties of hand lotions including pH, spreadability, stickiness and viscosity.

Gymnema sylvestre extract as a Traditional Medicine For Diabetes Mellitus

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic desease characterized by
hyperglycemia and resulting in impaired insulin resistance (Lila et al., 2023; Kashif et
al., 2023). According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2019 DM cases
with a prevalence of 1.5 million deaths and 48% occurred before the age of 70 years.
Indonesia is in seventh position with 10.7 million DM cases and will continue to
increase until 2045 (WHO, 2019). Diabetes mellitus sufferers prefer herbal medicine
because it is cheap, easy to buy, safe, does not cause side effects, and contains natural
ingredients (Hamzah, 2019). Gymnemwa sylvestre (G. sylvestre) is a plant found in
central and western India, Africa and Australia. This plant is an anti-diabetic plant
that has been used for centuries as a traditional medicine (Khan et al., 2019).

Research purposes is to determine the effect of Gymnema sylvestre extract as
an antidiabetic in experimental animals treated with diabetes mellitus (DM). The type
of research carried out was a journal review.
The results of the research were that Gymnemwa sylvestre extract doses 120,
200, 250, 400, 500, 900mg/kg were injected into experimental animals of rats or
rabbits treated for diabetes mellitus. Blood samples were examined for lipid profiles
(total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides) with the results showing a significant
reduction, so that G.sylvestre extract was able to reduce hyperglycemia.
